Seun Fakorede is a Nigerian entrepreneur, politician, and public speaker. He is the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, Nigeria, the capacity that makes him the youngest commissioner in Nigeria. He is a United Nations Ambassador for Peace.
Born in 1992, is the founder and director of the non-profit Home Advantage Africa where he advocates for African patriotism among youths.
Seun is a recipient of the prestigious Future Awards Africa Prize for Governance 2020 and the highly sought-after Politician Of The Year Award 2022 from One Young World. He believes that more African Youth will lead a tremendous impact in the next few years of human history than ever before, and it is his responsibility to raise more men and women to lead this vanguard.
Seun is a registered engineer, entrepreneur, consultant, and author who is passionate about grassroots community development and advocacy in Nigeria. His non-profit, Home Advantage Africa, is focused on the SDGs 2, 4, 5, and 8, as well as the early involvement of young people in leadership, social entrepreneurship, politics, and governance.
