Majid Michel is a Ghanaian actor and gospel preacher. Born to a Lebanese father and Ghanaian mother, his enthusiasm in acting started brewing in his secondary school days as he was a member of his schoolβs drama club. As a member of the drama club, he received a Best Actor Award in one of their performances on Emancipation Day in Cape Coast, Ghana.
Michelβs professional drive into acting began with his auditioning for a modeling agency, and which he later became a model for Super Model Agency. His charming disposition then got him starred in the television series βThings We Do For Loveβ. Fortunately, this TV series projected Michel unto the limelight of acting by starring in his debut movie βDivine Loveβ as the lead actor of the film. Going forward, he went on to be the lead actor in βAgony of the Christβ in 2008, and which got him seven different nominations 2009 Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Michel also gained prominence in the film mainstream of Nigeria Nollywood, as he is better known for his impeccable performance mostly in romantic movies, and got huge positive review from critics. His impressive role as a tyrant in the war film βSomewhere in Africaβ won him the Africa Movie Academy Awards for the first time in 2012. In 2014, he co-starred in the all-time action-packed β30 Days in Atlantaβ for which he got listed by Nigerian Cinema Exhibition Coalition as one of the highest box office grosser of 2014.
Michel revealed in 2017 that he is paid at least $15,000 for a role in a film, he also disclosed that he has earned as much as $35,000 to star in a film.

Michelβs outspoken exuberance and rekindling of his religious faith has made him to become an amazing preacher of the gospel, and a leadership mentor.
