Born June 29, Oladapo Adekunle Sofowora is a media mogul, public relations expert, advertising maestro, and advocate for women and young people.
In collaboration with the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and Mrs. Kehinde Adelaja Okoroafor of the MakeMee Elegant Foundation, Sofowora, who is also the founder of Rudder Blade Global, successfully led a 6-day training and empowerment programme for repatriated victims of human trafficking to commemorate the Ooni’s seventh coronation anniversary.
The media guru who was once the Special Assistant on Media to the Deputy Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly has worked in quite a number of reputable places in amazing capacities.
In addition to his relentless effort towards fighting against human trafficking and lifting the yokes of hunger off the shoulders of the downtrodden in society, he also works as a society and lifestyle editor at The Nation Newspaper, Chief Executive Officer at Samsho Welding Works and the Group Head Corporate Communications and Strategy at Fisolak Global Resources.
Talk of intellectual capacity, Sowofora is vast in knowledge. He attended Babs Fafunwa Millenium Senior Secondary School before he proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) where he bagged his first degree in English between 2009-2013 and his PGD in public relations, advertising and applied communication between 2018-2019. Sofowora is also an alumnus of Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos, Nigeria.

At the conclusion of his successfully led a 6-day training and empowerment programme for repatriated victims of human trafficking to commemorate the Ooni’s seventh coronation anniversary, Sofowora received a certificate of commendation from the Ooni of Ife for his active participation and immense efforts to combat human trafficking.
Oladapo Adekunle Sofowora is happily married to Rita Olayinka Ewumi.
