Boxing legend and former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, has recently spilled the beans on how he literally used to take the piss out of drug tests by wearing prosthetic manhood filled with wifeβs urine, and then later that of his child, to avoid testing positive during his boxing career.
Speaking with Jeff Novitzky, the Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance for the UFC, on his Hotboxinβ with Mike Tyson podcast, the retired boxer spoke about his usage of the βwhizzinatorβ, the prosthetic penis some people wear so as to pass off another personβs urine as theirs to avoid a positive drug test, CBS Sports reported.
βIt was awesome, man,β said Tyson. βI put my babyβs urine in it. And sometimes, one time I was using my wifeβs and my wife was like, βbaby you better not hope that it comes back pregnant or something.β And I said nah, so we ainβt gonna use you any more, weβre gonna use the kid. Cuz I got scared that the piss might come back pregnant.β
Responding to Tysonβs βprecautionaryβ alternative after the pregnancy concern, Novitzky recalled an experience where the urine sample of a male sportsman tested positive for pregnancy.
βThat was what I was afraid of,β Tyson said. βI guess I heard of this happening because I was afraid of that.β
He also asked Tyson if he was circumspect about the color and likeness of the whizzinator to a real penis, as a former NFL star was exposed for his lack of hindsight.
βYeah, hell yeah, I had a brown one,β Tysson responded. βThis guy was so fβking macho, he was scared. I whipped it out and he was like turning, βhey man take the fβking cup.β This macho guy, he didnβt want to look at me and sβt.β
Though Tyson did not reveal the drugs he was trying to keep authorities from spotting in his urine, he admitted using the whizzinator throughout his career to avoid getting caught for his cocaine and marijuana usage in his 2013 Undisputed Truth book, according to Yahoo Sports.
Tyson, who is apparently enjoying life after boxing, is coming out of retirement for an eight-round exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in Los Angeles on November 28.
