With a background in public administration and international affairs, he has served in key leadership roles, including as Prime Minister of Niger from 1997 to 2000 and later as CEO of the African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA-NEPAD). Born in 1951, Mayaki pursued higher education in France, where he obtained a doctorate in administrative sciences and a master’s degree in public administration.
