The Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, has named Jimmy Odukoya, the late pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s first son, as its new general overseer.
According to the announcement made by the church on Sunday, Pastor Jimi also took over as chairman of the board of trustees.
Recall that late Odukoya passed away on August 7 in the United States and was buried earlier this month.
A board member of the church announced to the ecstatic crowd that Pastor Jimmy was now the senior pastor and the chairman of the Board of Trustees. “Pastor Jimmy is now our senior pastor and he is the chairman of the Board of Trustees.”
Jimmy will formally take over as senior pastor on September 30. Prior his appointment, he was a Nollywood actor, motivational speaker and musician.
The Church’s new associate pastor is Tolu Odukoya Ijogun, his sister.
