Ms Yemisi Jenkins MBE, President of the Association of British Nigerian Law Enforcement (ABLE) Officers, welcomed delegates to the United Kingdom on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, during the Meet and Greet marking the beginning of the Duchess International Magazine Leadership Summit 2026 in Brighton.
Held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, the gathering provided an opportunity for delegates to connect ahead of the summit’s main activities, setting a welcoming tone for the three-day programme.

Following Ms Jenkins’ welcome, delegates took turns introducing themselves, sharing their names and professional backgrounds to help participants become better acquainted.
The introductions created an opportunity for delegates from different professional fields to learn about one another, exchange perspectives and begin building relationships that would support meaningful engagement throughout the summit.

The evening concluded with a shared meal, allowing delegates to continue their conversations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Beyond providing an opportunity for networking, the gathering encouraged fellowship and strengthened the sense of community among participants as they prepared to take part in the summit’s discussions and activities.

The Meet and Greet marked the opening of the three-day summit, taking place from 14 to 16 October 2026 under the theme “Honouring Our Communities: The Audacity to Lead — Redefining Power, Purpose and Legacy.” Organised by Duchess International Magazine, a publication of Custodian Global Consult Ltd, in partnership with the University of Brighton, the summit brings together leaders, professionals and changemakers to exchange ideas, explore purposeful leadership and discuss ways to strengthen communities and create lasting social impact.
