Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a Nigerian astute politician who has been on the corridor of power since the inception of uninterrupted democracy form of government from 1999. He was a two-term speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly (1999-2007), and the executive governor of Rivers State between 2007 and 2015, under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party.
Amaechi is currently the Nigerian Minister of Transportation under the All Progressive Congress (APC) ruling party of President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
