Khalil Nathan-Kudzai Madovi, born on 10 November 1997, is a versatile English actor, artist, and musician known for his breakout role as Josh Carter in the popular CBBC series 4 O’Clock Club (2012–2015). His performance on the show earned him the prestigious Children’s BAFTA for Best Performer, a testament to his talent and appeal to young audiences.
Born and raised in Sale, Greater Manchester, Khalil has roots in both Zimbabwe and Jamaica, which have influenced his diverse artistic approach. He attended The Manchester Grammar School from 2009 to 2016, where he began to cultivate his passion for the arts. Alongside acting, Khalil pursued music, and in 2016, he released an EP titled Mello3, showcasing his musical talents and unique style.
In addition to his work in television and music, Khalil is also a fine artist. He is currently studying Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, one of the most renowned art schools in the world, where he is continuing to develop his creative skills. Khalil’s multifaceted career spans acting, music, and visual art, with each discipline influencing and inspiring his work in the others, making him a dynamic figure in the British creative scene.
