The ex Nigerian football star and Manchester United striker, Odion Jude Ighalo, has been ranked as the second-richest African footballer from age 30 and below in the English Premier League.

The ranking done by The Sunday Times, placed the Egyptian and Liverpool FC striker, Mohammad Salah at the top of the ladder of the richest under-30 African player in English Premier League.

Ighalo has been estimated to have a net worth of £18 million below Mo Salah who is £19 million rich of net worth and has an estimated £19m net worth.

On the overall ranking scale, the Manchester United striker placed joint-15 alongside Aaron Ramsey (Juventus), Danny Welbeck (Watford), and Jack Wilshere (West Ham).

The striker is estimated to have a whooping £18 million net worth with his substantial £300,000-a-week wage at his parent club Shanghai Shenhua in China.

It was noted that Ighalo will be 31 years old by June, and his six months loan at Old Trafford is expected to end on May 31 with the club still deliberating for the option to make a deal permanent.

According to reports, United is contributing £130,000-a-week towards the former Watford striker’s wages.

In a bid to lure his interest back to the Chinese club, the former Super Eagles player has been offered a deal worth of £400,000 per week while waiting for a permanent signing at Manchester United.

Ighalo has been able to get the ball past the net for four times in eight appearances since his signing to his dream English club in January.
