In exchange for retrieving a customer’s lost $70K, Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, often known as Davido, gave female Eko Hotel employee Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary a huge gift of $10,000.
On Sunday, July 23, the music celebrity tweeted about his hefty monetary donation.
Responding to a tweet that praised the woman for keeping morality, Davido begged the public for help in locating the woman and said he would pay her $10,000 if he could.
“Find her for me… I donate $10k,” he wrote.
As you may recall, Mary discovered the bag with the substantial sum of money and immediately alerted the hotel management to the situation. Following the establishment’s guiding principles of integrity and transparency, the general manager of the hotel initiated the process of returning the money to its proper owner right away.
Mary was found within a day, thanks to social media, and she happily accepted her gift.
