Adelabu Fisayo George, known widely as Dr Bills, is a Nigerian medical doctor, forex trader and philanthropist who has built a reputation for empowering young people across West Africa.
Born in Owo, Ondo State, he attended Adedewe Nursery School in Owo and Parker International School in Akure before graduating from Zaporozhye State Medical University in Ukraine in 2017. He completed his house job at Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital and was formally inducted into the medical profession in 2016.
While studying in Ukraine, Adelabu began trading forex. In April 2020, during the COVID-19 outbreak, he founded Dr Bills Academy, a forex firm where he serves as founder and chief executive. Through the academy, he has empowered over 1,000 young people by gifting prop firm accounts, providing capital, and offering free forex classes and signals.
His philanthropic work extends beyond forex trading. He has supported scholarships for students and organised mentorship programmes, and was recognised as an Icon of Women Development by the National Youth for Women Development and Education in Nigeria for his contributions to female education and empowerment.
In January 2024, Adelabu was appointed as an Economic Community of West African States youth ambassador and received the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity.
Other recognitions include the 2023 Forex Icon of the Year award, a COPEEL award for contributions to entrepreneurship in Africa, and a Julius Nyerere Hall of Fame induction from Young African Professionals and Entrepreneurs.
Adelabu, who is also a patron of the National Association of Nigerian Students, has said his focus remains on creating a better community for young people through sustained initiatives.
