Benjamin Kigen: A Champion in the 3000 Metres Steeplechase

Benjamin Kigen, born on July 5, 1993, is a distinguished Kenyan athlete specializing in the 3000 metres steeplechase. Hailing from Baringo County, Kenya, Kigen has made significant strides in his athletic career, notably winning the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with a time of 8:11.45.

He also secured gold at the 2019 All-Africa Games, showcasing his prowess in steeplechase. Kigen trains with fellow athlete Amos Kirui under the guidance of coach Isaac Rono, contributing to his impressive track record.
