Richard Iferenta is a Partner and Vice Chair at KPMG in the UK, where he leads the firm’s Challenger Banking practice. A qualified solicitor and Chartered Tax Advisor, Richard’s background includes roles at two other Big Four firms and the law firm Simmons & Simmons. He is a renowned tax practitioner known for simplifying complex issues and delivering innovative solutions to a wide range of tax challenges.

Over his 20-year tenure at KPMG, Richard has led the Financial Services Indirect Tax Practice, advising financial services clients and consulting with UK tax authorities, HM Treasury, and the European Commission on VAT legislation and policy.
