The Nigerian striker Moses Simon has been named the Player of the Year at his French club Nantes, after winning 40% of the fans’ votes to emerge as the winner of the award.
Simon has played his career to a high pitch at Nantes, since he joined the Ligue 1 side on loan from Spanish club Levante.
The Nigeria international has had an impressive performance at Nantes, ending the season as the club’s highest goal scorer with eight goals in all competitions.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international moved to Nantes in the summer of 2019 from La Liga club Levante, where he struggled with injury.
It has been reported that the left forward has signed a four-year deal to remain at Nantes that have activated their €5 million offer to keep the Nigerian player.
