In a significant achievement, Davido’s fourth album ‘Timeless’ has exceeded 450 million streams on Spotify, marking his first album to reach this milestone on the platform.
Released on March 31, 2024, ‘Timeless’ has seen immense success, setting multiple records, including the highest opening day and opening week streams for a Nigerian album on Spotify.
One of the album’s standout singles, ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys, has garnered over 100 million streams on Spotify, becoming the first lead track by Davido to reach this milestone.
‘Timeless’ has produced several hit singles, such as ‘Feel,’ ‘Kante’ featuring Fave, and ‘No Competition’ featuring Asake.
The album earned Davido three nominations at the 66th Grammy Awards: ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys for Best African Song Performance, ‘Feel’ for Best Global Song Performance, and ‘Timeless’ for Best Global Album.
With ‘Timeless’ surpassing 450 million streams, Davido has now accumulated over 2 billion streams on Spotify, making him the sixth most streamed Nigerian artist on the platform.
Davido concluded the ‘Timeless’ era with the release of the music video for ‘Kante’ featuring Fave, following a year-long tour.
