Olabanke Meshida Lawal is a Nigerian make-up artist born in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Southwest, Nigeria. She is the founder and CEO of the Nigerian makeup and cosmetology company BMPro Makeup Group.
She received recognition for Brand of the Year at the 2009 Eloy Awards, Best Makeup Artist at the Nigerian Event Awards (2012), and Makeup Artist of the Year at the FAB AWARDS (2010).
Banke Meshida kick-started her career in artistry industry while in high school. Leveraging on her bravery and smartness, she began makeup sessions for friends and acquaintances.
Meshida however proceeded to the University of Lagos where she bagged her first degree in English from her school in 2000.
A number of honours have been bestowed upon Meshida, including Make-Up Artist of The Year (City People Awards 2005), Make-Up Brand of The Year (ELOY Awards 2009), Make-Up Artist of The Year (FAB Awards 2010), Best Make-Up Artist (The Nigerian Event Awards 2012), and Makeup Brand of The Year (APPOEMN 2017).
She married Lanre Lawal on February 10th, 2007, and their union is blessed with two kids.
