Gospel artists across the globe have been doing their bits in spreading ‘The Good News’ and also awakening the world to cast their worries onto God, and hope for the best in this trying time of coronavirus ravaging the earth by keeping their faith fit.
It is more than obvious that the world is already losing its form since the outbreak of this deadly virus. Businesses are shutting down, lives are cutting short, and all available means of fighting this apocalypse are getting overstretched. However, there is a need to quicken our hopes, and believe there is a light at the end of this salvage tunnel.
A joyful heart heals faster than medicine, hence, music is the food to the heart. Nothing does the magic of having an astute hope better than a good tune to serenade the mind towards faith.
Curling from quarantined musical collaborations to Instagram live shows and several releases, gospel artists are really keeping their heads up in teaching and strengthening our faith at this time.
Gospel music is just the perfect tool to employ for motivation in this lockdown period.

Award-winning singer, Jonathan McReynolds, released his new single “People” amid the COVID-19 scourge, according to him, the tune is a message that can help listeners shift their focus back on God.
He explained that the song called “People” is absolutely not about the people. It’s about the place they have in your mind.

This talented singer has been pulling the waves of gospel music for over three decades. Just recently, Franklin had a team up with Fantasia, Jonathan McReynolds, Kelly Price, Tyrese and more artists at BET CovidRelief concert to create a special rendition of his 2011 hit, “I Smile” and he simply took the viewers to church with the song.
Tye Tribbett
The Grammy-winning gospel singer Tye Tribbett has fused Kendrick Lamar’s hit song “Alright” into a new tune to send a message of “We are going to be all right” to the world during this time of global health crisis.
Tribbett released the new song “We Gon’ Be Alright” some week back, and according to USA Today, the new track interpolates part of Lamar’s anthemic 2015 song, which was co-produced by Pharrell and won two Grammy Awards.
