Wisdom Kaye has been called the best dressed man on TikTok by Vogue, and it is a label he has more than earned. Born in Lagos in 2001 and raised in Houston from the age of four, Kaye began posting cinematic styling videos on TikTok in January 2020 while studying mechanical engineering at Texas State University.
His early content merged tailoring inspired by the 1970s with luxury aesthetics, and within months he had amassed millions of followers.
That viral success led to a modelling contract with IMG Models in August 2020, and he made his runway debut at Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2022 show in Paris. He has since starred in campaigns for Dior, Fendi, Coach, Ralph Lauren and Prada Beauty.
In 2024, he made his Met Gala debut in a sculptural red Robert Wun design, a moment that felt like a victory for his followers and fellow fashion creators alike. The same year, he curated eBay’s Endless Runway at New York and London Fashion Weeks, a livestreamed pre-loved fashion show highlighting sustainability and resale culture.
Kaye’s style is characterised by its theatricality and range, from experimental concepts to looks inspired by everything from the Olympics to anime. He has spoken about balancing artistic ambition with algorithmic demands: “I have to take certain risks on the artistic side for the sake of performance”.
Named one of Forbes’ Top Creators of 2025 with estimated earnings of five million dollars, Kaye represents a new generation of style leaders for whom content creation, personal branding and couture coexist.
