Anthony Attah is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria LNG Limited.
Attah’s experience in the oil and gas industry has spanned for almost three decades. Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director of NLNG, he was the Managing Director and Board Chairman of Shell Nigeria E&P Company (SNEPCo), Vice President for HSE and Corporate Affairs and Vice President, Human Resources (HR) in Shell E&P Africa.
Over his distinguished career across Europe, Russia and Africa, Attah has led various multi-disciplinary teams across diverse cultures. He is renowned for his strong strategic and commercial mindset underpinned by a solid technical background and excellent leadership capabilities. His goal in NLNG remains to sustain the company’s historical excellent performance while working to raise the company to the next level and continuing to make NLNG an inspiration to Nigeria as part of NLNG’s vision of helping to build a better Nigeria.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Benin. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), member of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Attah is focus-driven as he gears at delivering business value to stakeholders.
However, he is championing one of the most promising liquefied natural gas projects in Africa. The $7 billion Train 7 project which will ensure sustainable feed gas supply to NLNG’s six existing trains and the new Train 7 when completed, and is expected to boost foreign direct investment in the country.
