Moses Oruaze Dickson, born on August 13, 1985, is a prominent Nigerian lawyer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He serves as the managing solicitor at TRIAX Solicitors, a reputable law firm located in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Additionally, he is the founder of the Goldcoast Developmental Foundation.
Dickson grew up in Toru-Orua Town, situated in the Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. He earned a Master of Laws (LL.M) with distinction in International Commercial Law from the University of Bedfordshire. His academic credentials also include a Bachelor’s degree in Law and further legal training from the Nigerian Law School.
In the business realm, Dickson established the Solalina Investment Group, which operates across various sectors, including oil and gas. Notably, in 2017, Solalina Investment Limited, in collaboration with Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK, undertook a £4,000 research project focused on international investment agreements and economic development in Africa.
The Goldcoast Foundation, under Dickson’s leadership, has been active in providing humanitarian aid. In October 2018, the foundation distributed relief materials to women and children affected by flooding in the Niger Delta region. This initiative earned praise from Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo during his visit to the affected areas. Dickson is also an advocate for women’s rights, gender equality, and the integration of technology by young professionals.
