Femi Adebayo is a Nigerian lawyer, movie actor, and producer. Born in 1970, the thespian has had a seasoned acting career that has spanned for over three decades. With his academic pursuit in Law, the masters degree holder has starred in numerous movies across the bi-lingual spheres (English and Yoruba) of Nigeria Nollywood industry, winning four awards as Best Yoruba actor at the 17th African Film Awards popularly known as Afro Hollywood awards at the Stratford Town Hall in London. He also won an award in the same category for the Best of Nollywood Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria Awards in 2012. Other awards include, 2018 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) in the category of the Best Indigenous Movie (Yoruba) Etiko Onigedu; 2017 City People Movie Awards in the category of the Best Actor Of The Year (Yoruba); and 2015 City People Entertainment Awards in the category of the Best Movie Producer Of The Year (Yoruba).
The father of four is the CEO of J-15 media network Nigeria and the Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism.
Femi Adebayo, popularly called Jelili, is the son to the veteran actor, Adebayo Salami, and a brother to Tope Adebayo, who is also an actor.
