Letsile Tebogo Celebrated in Algiers for Olympic Glory

Letsile Tebogo, Botswana’s sprinting sensation, was celebrated at a grand ceremony in Algiers on Saturday, honoring his outstanding achievements at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The 21-year-old made history by becoming the first African to win the men’s 200 meters, clocking an impressive 19.46 seconds and setting a new African record. He also anchored Botswana’s 4×400 meters relay team to a silver medal, further cementing his status as a national hero.
