Nigerian music star, Patrick Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking, has been featured in the remake of the reggae legend, Bob Marley classical song “One Love”.
Patoranking disclosed this in an Instagram post where he stated that the remake of the 1977 track was a fundraising scheme by the United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The fundraising is geared at bringing coronavirus relief, as the world struggles with economic situation pitched on by the ravaging virus.
The Marley family alongside the Nigerian singer are on the new version of “One Love” set to be released on July 17.
The 30-year-old reggae-dancehall singer, wrote “ONE LOVE by Bob Marley means a lot to me. To be on this new version alongside the Marley Family and others in support of @unicef’s coronavirus relief is an honour”.
Also, Amplified Records wrote: “ONE LOVE featuring @patorankingfire Coming July 17th. The King is on the new version of One Love alongside the Marley family and others in support of @unicef’s coronavirus relief. Stay tuned to find out who else will be on this new record. #OneLoveOneHeart.”
