Tyler Perry makes History becomes the First African American to own Two Major Television Networks

Media personality and filmmaker, Tyler Perry now a proud owner of BET and VH1, making him the first black individual to own two major television networks.

Dineo Ranaka of South Africa among other well wishers sent the filmmaker congratulatory messages. The former radio host praised Tyler for being the personification of black greatness and an example to her.
