Nigerian technology entrepreneur and inventor Silas Adekunle is credited with developing the world’s first intelligent gaming robot.
At the age of 24 in 2016, Adekunle created the first intelligent gaming robot, Mekamon. That same year, 500 units were sold.
In 2017, he agreed to an exclusive contract with Apple.
The 2018 Forbes Europe 30 Under 30: Technology list featured Silas Adekunle. In the same year, Adekunle made it to the list of the Top 100 Minority Ethnic Leaders in Technology published by the Financial Times.
The31-year-old Nigerian also ranks the highest paid robotics engineer in the world.
Adekunle bagged his degree with a First-Class Honors degree in robotics and an honorary degree from the University of the West of England.
