Charles O’Tudor was born on June 20, 1971. He is a Nigerian brand strategist, businessman, and public speaker. He serves as the organization’s lead consultant.
O’Tudor grew up in Nigeria’s Cross River State. He attended Command Children School in Lagos State for his elementary school and Command Secondary School in Ikeja, Lagos State, for his secondary education. He graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is a graduate of the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he earned certificates in management and measuring organisational strategies, product strategy, and brand management.
O’Tudor is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).
He spent three years as an ad executive at Shops Bankole Sagie Advertising, where he started his career in branding and advertising. After that, O’Tudor advanced to the position of Deputy Manager at Explicit Communications, where he oversaw Multinational Accounts. At Solutions, he later rose to the position of Client Services Manager. He started ADSTRAT BMC in 2001, serving as Principal Consultant ever since.
O’Tudor was chosen to serve as the host of the Intern TV Show, the first ever business reality TV programme to air in Nigeria which was sponsored by Bank PHB.
O’Tudor is married and has three kids.
Honours and Recognitions
Charles O’Tudor was chosen to join the Lagos State Health Advocacy Implementation Committee in April 2005.
Jide Idris, the state’s commissioner of health, endorsed O’Tudor’s ADSTRAT “to deliver on the promises of the Health Advocacy Implementation Committee. .
ADSTRAT was also recognised in 2007 as the “preferred marketing and branding company to market the 2008 Zuma Film Festival.”
He became the fourth person in the history of the Nigerian chapter of the organisation to be inducted into the “Junior Chamber International Hall of All Time Fame of Exemplary Leaders” in 2005.
O’Tudor, among other honours, once won CITY People Magazine’s Brand Consultant of the Year Award.
Senator Liyel Imoke, the then governor of Cross-River State, named him as a member of the Obudu Ranch International Mountain Race Marketing Committee and as chairman of its subcommittee on brand strategy, marketing, and advertising.
Additionally, he serves on the Board of Judges for The Future Awards and the Wits Business School Alumni Association Roundtable in Johannesburg, South Africa.
