Kola Oyeneyin is a Nigerian serial and Pan-African advocate. He is the founder and CEO of Venia Group, a venture creation and development company with large recognition by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). At the mention of Kola Oyeneyin, unique style of business curation as its peak must be pitched.
Born in 1980, Oyeneyin had stints with Hewlett-Packard as a business analyst in the United Kingdom and also as the business manager with Lekki British School. However, Venia Group was birthed in 2011 with its subsidiaries, Venia Business Hub providing serviced offices and co-working spaces for Startups and SMEs in Nigeria. Also, AutoGenius, which is Nigeria’s first digital insurance platform.
Keying into political views and opinions, Oyeneyin is the founder and convener of GenVoices, a non-partisan group launched in 2012 via a telethon to prepare youth for political engagement, a mainstream which African youths need to get saddled with.
Also in 2017, he created the Adullam network, non-profit initiative geared to annually raise and mentor 100 young men between the ages of 18 and 30.
The 40-year-old entrepreneur has a full resume garnering honors and recognitions locally and internationally. He is a Mason and Gleitsman Fellow and a Fellow of Harvard Center for Public Leadership. He was an honoree of The Eric Yankah Award for his “distinguished contribution to Mason program and Harvard Kennedy School.” Oyeneyin holds a bachelor’s in computer science from the Nottingham University.
