Adedimeji has featured in various popular Nigerian films, including Jagun Jagun, Ayinla, King of Thieves, Strangers, Soole, Breaded Life, The Groit, Deja Vu, Jankariwo, Passport, and so on.
Lateef began his schooling at Ire Akari Primary School in Isolo, Lagos State. After that, he went to Ilamoye Grammar School in Okota, Lagos, for his secondary education. Lateef also took part in a performance studio workshop in Onikan, Lagos, where he received training in acting. He developed his writing and acting skills further at a non-governmental organisation (NGO) called Community Life Project. Later, he graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University with a degree in mass communication.
In 2016, Lateef received the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Yoruba) award at the 2016 Best of Nollywood Awards. A year earlier, in 2015, he was nominated for the City People Entertainment Awards in the category of Most Promising Actor of the Year.
Adedimeji is married to Bimpe Oyebade, a collgue in the industry. He had the opportunity to collaborate with UNICEF, thanks to his strong writing skills. His talents were recognised when he was awarded the title of Nollywood male during the E-Nigeria Newspaper Night of Honour on October 30, 2021.
