John Bamidele Gboyega, popularly known as John Boyega, is a British-born Nigerian actor. Born in 1992, Boyega has for almost a decade being able to serve the delight of movie enthusiasts with some brilliant and artistic dispositions.
Following his debut and breakthrough movie “Attack The Block” in 2011, Boyega has gone to star in blockbuster films like “Star Wars,” “The Last Jedi,” “The Rise of Skywalker,” and film adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Half of a Yellow Sun.
He received the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2016, and was awarded the Trophée Chopard at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
Boyega was named consecutively in the 2020 and 2021 Powerlist Top 100 of the most influential people in the UK of African/African-Caribbean descent.
