Adesegun Adeosun Jr., is a Nigerian London-based entertainment enthusiast and entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of SMADE Entertainment, a conglomerate of musical showbiz.
Avidly passionate about African music and promoting it to global recognition, SMADE started organizing club parties while studying and this hobby morphed into becoming an accelerated ambition as he became a club promoter. Culminating to a reputed event planner, SMADE has curated his distinct niche in the scope of Afrobeats. Highly enthused with Afro-culture, his events parading African music superstars, like Wizkid and Davido have in many occasions had a sold-out at top UK and global venues, such as the O2 Arena.
As a creative entertainment producer who always hones his skills in innovative and inventive ideas, SMADE is the cofounder of AfroNation. Afronation is an Afrobeats musical festival which had its maiden edition in 2019 with a jaw-dropping attendance of over 15,000 festival goers.
Noteworthily, SMADE has always been keen and pivotal in bridging the lacuna between the African Diaspora and the music talents springing from the Black continent.
SMADE, coined from being “Self Made” & “Successfully Made” is hinged on the fact of self acceptance and motivation. Apparently, this the mantra that has been working for this lustrous persona.
In corroboration of his entrepreneurial wits, SMADE is the founder of King SMADE Beard Oil, a beard grooming kit created to have a focal point on male grooming.
SMADE holds a BA (Hons) from University of Arts, London and MBA from the University of Greenwich.
