Life was never easy!!!
If it was easy, there won’t be Elon Musk of Tesla, Jeff Bezos of Amazon. If it was easy, there won’t be Tyler Perry, Barack Obama, and Oprah Winfrey. If life was easy again, there won’t be Kamala Harris, LeBron James, Aliko Dangote, Michelle Obama, Fred Swaniker.
There is no success without some streak of failure. You have got to know this fact. Failure is not a fatal end, but the opportunity to try new ideas and achieve uniqueness. If it could take Thomas Edison a minimum of 3,000 trials and failures to invent an electric bulb, then there is no excuse not to get up from that challenge and ride it over. Life has never been a bed of roses, because if it was, there would be nothing like success story. Success story stems from your journey from hardship to ease, failure to success, and rag to riches.
In your trance of grinding for excellence, you must be ready to key into optimism as your saving grace when hope for that success wants to seem shattered. Without commitment you will never start and ultimately, without consistency you will never finish.
Always remember that ease is a greater threat to progress than hardship. To stay atop in life, you have to pay the sacrifice of dogged diligence with deprivation of some comforts. The journey of life is like a race which requires you shedding off some weight to stay fit (mentally). The difference between the living and the dead is hope. Why not cherish that opportunity of being alive to initiate new idea and curate something unique.
The journey of a thousand mile starts with a step. See that failure, challenge, or hurdle as the new ground to stay awake to being outstanding. Life was never easy! So, fall down seven times, get up eight.
