The power of a Black woman does not only lies in her radiant beauty, but with good sense of pride in her brilliance. It is to this end that every Black women hold an epitome of black girl magic in their class and disposition.
Monica Geingos is a paragon of Black beauty and brain who has terraced through the walls of business and broken the odds of global perception about African woman. Born in Ondonga, Namibia in 1977, Monica has successfully plied her career sojourn to become a well-reckoned entrepreneur, lawyer, and ultimately the First Lady of Namibia.
Graduating from the University of Namibia with two legal degrees, B. Juris and LLB, Monica has had a cognate experience in the financial world, having worked with the Namibia Stock Exchange (NSX) for many years. She has also served as Chairman of the Board of eBank Namibia and doubles as the managing director of the financial undertaking Stimulus and General Director of Point Break.
In recognition of her amiable and illustrious impact to Namibia and pride to Africa, Monica was in 2020 in the list of 100 most influential African women. The similar feat she was bestowed upon in 2012, when she was voted one of the 12 most influential people of Namibia
The 42-year-old First Lady of Namibia has been a board member and director within many of the South African country’s big companies. She has been a one-time chairperson of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council.
She is married to Namibian President Hage Geingos.
