Dr. Linus Okorie’s journey into leadership development began in the lecture halls and student unions of his university years, where he first discovered a passion for guiding peers toward collective action. This early experience set the stage for his 15‑year run as host of Leadership Clinic, a radio and TV program that broke down the principles of values‑based leadership for thousands of Nigerians.
In 2006, Okorie formalized his vision by founding the Guardians of the Nation International (GOTNI) Leadership Centre in Abuja. What started as an after‑school workshop for young activists has since grown into a full‑service institute offering short courses, executive retreats and mentoring schemes for professionals, entrepreneurs and civil servants. The Centre now attracts participants from all 36 states, thanks in part to flagship programs on strategic decision‑making and ethical governance.
Holding a doctorate in Leadership and Performance Management from the Institute of Government Research and Leadership Technology, Okorie remains on the speaking circuit, addressing audiences at universities, corporate boardrooms and public forums. His most recent initiative—a monthly online masterclass—reaches emerging leaders across West Africa, reinforcing his belief that good leadership can be taught and measured. As Nigeria navigates economic headwinds and social change, GOTNI’s alumni testify to Okorie’s conviction: careful coaching today, stronger institutions tomorrow.
